Radio:
There are two local radio stations we listen
to, Radio
Broadland,
based in Norwich and broadcast live via the
Internet using Real Audio. The other station
is The
Beach
Radio and is based in Lowestoft - this is
the station that is automatically switched
on when in my car.
I
really do have to mention Lowestoft
Online too as I am a member - although I
have not really contributed much during the
time that Darren got this site up and
running. Its more like a community
site with news and views, a chatroom and
more. Many was the night some years
ago that I used to spend chatting to Robin
and Darren ... and Chris (webmaster of
Lowestoft.net) of course.
Sod's
Law ... within weeks of publishing this
revamped page, Chris writes
in my guestbook ... all the way from
America. The good news for those really
interested in Lowestoft is that his
photographic collection of Lowestoft really
is second to none and is now available. Visit
Chris here!
Joe
Capps seems to be taking over from Chris as
the person taking the most photographs of
Lowestoft. His personal
website is now quite extensive and he
also has a weblog
and a forum available too!
Bob
Lawson's
page has a quiz for the locals - guess the
location of various pictures - some exist
and some no longer exist. I do try to look
at Bob's site on a regular basis. Actually,
these pages contain lots of good information
about this area and are well worth a visit.
A
friend of ours has created his web site!
This is a really good one - and should not
be missed. There is a lot I could say about
some aspects of this site *g*, but look for
yourself. Check out Merlin's
site.

Crikey
... I really am out of date with what has
been happening on the local websites ....
drop me a line if you have a site that I may
like to include on this page ......
