05/15/2004: "No Cycling .... or ignorance ..... or both"
Do you ever wonder why regulations are broken that seem so obvious? No cycling to me, means ... err No cycling ... simple? Apparently not.
After several days of having to avoid being "in the way" of these bikes .... (like they cannot even cycle around us and have to use bells!!!) I think its about time this issue was brought to light.
No cycling ??

The picture above says "Fixed penalty Offence" .... yeah ![]()
Byelaws are obviously made to be broken .....
2) Dogs are banned on the beach from 1st May to 30th September ... (not!)
3) Dogs must be kept on leads along the entire length of the promenade between ... (not!)
5) No person shall bicycle, tricyle, skateboard, rollerskate, ... (not)
7) Seashore motor vehicle speed limit - 5 miles p/hour ... (not)
What is the point of having bylaws if they are not adhered to?? My personal opinion is that the council are doing lip service just to get their blue flag again for the beach.
The 2003 flag still flying looks sad ...................
