08/22/2004: "Walking along the shore"

Sometimes we tend to forget and take for granted many of the things we live with and see every day. Just last night we were having a walk along the seafront and it really started tipping it with rain - so we made for a shelter that was close by.

Already in this (large) shelter at the other end were (I presume) a family with 2 children - girls of about 5 and 7 (how would I know??) .... anyway - despite the rain the children wanted to go and play in the sand, they had been building sandcastles and they didn't want a little bit of rain to stop them having fun.

Makes you realise that some people don't have the beach available to them .... awwwhhhh bless

Let's hope they managed to take advantage of the nice weather we had today!
