Ignorance

mood: Mad

Who the hell do people think they are? The driver of this car said that because she pays poll tax and road tax that she can park anywhere she wants to!! sleepy

She thought she would park here because she would only be there for about 10 minutes ...... who the hell gives her the right to block the lane? Whether its for 10 minutes or an hour - its irrelevant.

Just as well not everyone is so simple minded! Blimey, we not only pay poll tax, we both pay road tax too ..... wow - whoppee ... does that mean we too can park anywhere we darned well like, even (as was in this case) there was plenty of road space available in which to park her car.

So does that mean it would have been OK for me to block her in this lane???

Gazzy's Bird Cam

Many of you may often have visited my brother's webcam but then again - maybe this is your first visit to this weblog .... blush hmmm so anyway - his garden webcam has been down for quite a while now and he has gone through great personal expense and purchased another bird table ....

However, there is only one man for the job of setting up the new table .... brother-in-law Roy - or, as he prefers to be called in such situations, "Lowestoft's answer to handy Andy" ..... (Does he watch too many make-over TV shows to even know who handy Andy is ...... YOU DECIDE.

Whilst they (Gaz and Roy) were looking at the table yesterday I managed to grab some shots ..... LOL

Meanwhile ..... note the new bird table on the table! Nice!

We caught you having a sneeky look at the cam .... did you know I was watching??? razz

So anyway - the bird table has now been set up and hopefully, once the birds get used to it, we will see a return of many of the birds and squirrel to the garden .....

Alls well that ends well smile

Well, we had a drive down to Southwold and had a wander around. It was so peacefull - lovely. Got some nice pics and actually added Southwold to the Walking website (see link on the left hand side). Lovely afternoon smile

Why does Lowestoft have a Blue Flag

These 2 photos were taken earlier this evening. Theoretically there are supposed to be no dogs on the beach and yet, on the best bit of sandy beach we have left, the council does nothing to stop people taking their dogs onto the sand. The owners of these dogs did not pick up after them either! So watch out for that dog shit your child could be playing in/near.

If the council don't appear to care (just look at the poor warnings - no new signs this year nor were the signs re-painted on the road) ... should we?

Jumping Shrimps - or do shrimps jump?

confused

Ok - so what does jump on the seashore?

Walking near Kessingland last night along the beach on one of our walks (see also the link left for more pics) ... whilst walking along the shore, on the firmer sand (easier on the feet and legs rolls eyes ) - we came across things that seemed to jump.

Dave reckons they are a type of shrimp - but they are tiny. The beach was full of them - it was the first time EVER that I had come across them.

Do you know what they are? Could they be a type of shrimp?

Please leave a comment and let us know - if you know.

Noise Pollution??

crazy

Shut that bloody dog up!

Its been yapping continually now for the last 25 minutes and continues to bark/yap. I'm sick of it.

Don't people realise that their dogs are so noisy? Why not take it for a bloody walk instead of standing chatting to other dog owners and letting the dogs roam wherever and just continually bark ....

Shut it up woman!

crazy

I've just had a thought - I feel sorry for the people who live next door to yappy dog and its owner. Can they call in the environmental department for the noise?

Whoever you are neighbour - you have my sympathy!

Kensington Gardens - Boating Lake

Well, well, well. On the way back from a walk to the Claremont we popped into Kensington Gardens. To our surprise there were quite a few people around the boating lake, many with remote controlled boats. It was surprisingly relaxing to sit and watch the boats. Of course I did not have a camera on me crying

Unfortunately, some of the youth of today have absolutely no respect for others and their posessions at all. Some teenagers started to throw rocks into the pond in an effort to hit the boats! Why???? Can they not leave people and other people's posessions alone? Do their parents know what they are like - do they care?

Anyway - some fantastic boats were there and next time I hope to have a camera on me to catch some of them ........

Nice to see the boating lake being used and appreciated ......
